                                       Our Mission

Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.  We are called to love God with all of our heart, mind, soul & strength as well as love our neighbors as ourselves. We seek to be faithful on purpose through practicing:

Rest & Renewal

Daily Prayer

Gratitude

 Hospitality

and Creative Joy

How do we practice our faith?

Rest & Renewal - We have permission to resist busyness & production. We listen to the needs of our bodies & souls through the regular practice of Sabbath.

Daily Prayer & Silence - Praying isn't just telling God our needs & wants but also listening for God's voice.

Community - We prioritize our relationships with others. Have we made time to catch up with a friend or neighbor?

Hospitality - Have we welcomed everyone into our community?

Gratitude - We give thanks to God for what we have.

Creative Joy - Have we taken time to be creative as we are made in God's image?

Special Happenings of Faith

Stanley and Evelyn Coleman were honored with a reception on Sunday, April 19, 2026.  This precious couple joined Faith in 1991 and have been  consistent servants for three decades.  We will miss seeing Stanley and Evelyn on Sunday mornings.  They moved to Round Rock, Texas to be closer to their son.  Members of Faith wish the Colemans best wishes in their new adventures.

Faith UMC provided 150 snack bags for Lamar Wesley Foundation students for finals week.
